Session Playing
Elliot has played in well over 300 hours of studio recording sessions to date, for a wide variety of musical styles and genres, whilst working with internationally acclaimed artists and composers. Elliot has also performed live as a backing strings player frequently, touring 13 European Cities on a tour for Kitty Daisy and Lewis's 3rd album, performing at the Royal Festival Hall with Whyte Horses and playing at Colston Hall, Bristol with Mt Wolf.
As an instrumentalist and composer with perfect pitch and a good background in cross-genre improvisation, Elliot is also able to craft custom improvised string lines on the spot for individual recording sessions, multitracking and stacking lines to produce a full ensemble of unique harmony in a short space of time.
Elliot has been booked to both play and manage recordings in various studios and recording sessions around the country, predominantly for contemporary artists in the rock, indie and rockabilly genres - including for multiple sessions at Abbey Road Studios, and SSR Studios Camden.
